2008 International Music Festival (IMF)
The 2008 International Music Festival (IMF) ended with a bang! In October of 2009, The IMF Champion Weekend Warriors captivated audiences and gained fans both near and afar. The group's journey led them to several radio and print interviews and performances where thousands more could experience their one-of-a-kind sound. They then took it to the streets, where IMF and CHOSA set up grassroots performances in two African townships to the delight of the local children.
The prestigious Wadda venue was the main stage for a series of Weekend Warriors performances. Their mix of homemade beats, smooth vocals and unique rhymes captured the attention of Cape Town in a way it has never seen. Numerous video sessions in their Camps Bay mansion punctuated their South African tour along the way, proving why they were the first to make their mark on Anthem's International Music Festival. Full details about all of the Weekend Warriors' international performances and activities are on the IMF website at www.anthemIMF.com

Anthem Entertainment took over the Seattle music scene with a little
something for everyone. Six talented local acts, from a city that is world
renown for its local music, took the spotlight and reminded us all why Seattle is on the map.
Over 3000 miles away, on the other side of the country, Anthem was kicking off the Boston summer with Anthem's annual Siren Showcase. The Showcase highlights the Northeast's best in female-fronted bands. The Church of Boston hosted this two-day concert series where ten music acts shook the house down in Anthem's hottest showcase. To see our sirens after the show, check back on the website to view new video footage! From coast to coast Anthem showed why its events are second-to-none all in one amazing weekend.

International Music Festival - Boston
Best in Boston perform for a chance at a tour to South Africa!
Venue:The Baseball Tavern
1270 Boylston St.
Boston, MA
In early 2008, Anthem launched its International Music Festival (IMF) in 60 markets throughout
North America to find the next great artist and introduce them to the
rest of the world. Hundreds of acts have participated and only one
will emerge as the grand prize recipient of an all-expenses paid tour
through Africa! The Boston IMF events brought out some of the best
talent we've seen so far in the festival. It was one of the closest
competitions we have seen to date but The Midnight Howler's emerged as
the victors to represent Boston. Visit www.anthemIMF.com to learn
more about the IMF and vote for your favorite 2008 artists!
