  Summer Music Cruise - Rock the boat!

  Anthem teamed up with Boston Event Guide for a fun-filled summer music cruise aboard the MV Provincetown II. Three floors of entertainment with live music from five local bands (Eric Jason Newell, Cereal Theory, Grip on the Sun, SPF-4, and Trebek) and a DJ spinning your favorite hits kept the party going all night. All guests received complimentary party favors, airbrush tattoos & body painting, entrance into great raffles, and admission to the after party at Felt! This cruise sold out and is sure to sell out again next year so be sure to get your tickets early and check back for more information on the next cruise!

  Anthem’s Networking Series featured the Sports Business & Sports Entertainment industries this past July. This was a FREE event that was open to the public where attendees were able to learn more about this exciting industry through networking and Anthem’s elite speaking panel. Professionals in the field, college students aspiring to have careers within the industry – all attended and we hope to see everyone back August where we will feature this industry again due to its popular demand!

  Summer Kickoff Event
  When: June 21, 2008

  Anthem is kicking off the start of summer by bringing the beach to The Greatest Bar! This fun-filled event has something for everyone and will be the highlight of the summer. Enjoy live cover bands on one floor, original bands on another, and Top 40/house music from a great local DJ on the main level. Participate in summer activities like beach volleyball in the sand pit, a hula hoop contest, or if you think you have what it takes, the Beach Body contest with a $250 cash prize! If you want access to the VIP Beach Lounge on the mezzanine level – come dressed in your best summer attire (bathing suits, shorts, sunglasses, etc.). There will also be great door prizes and raffles as well!

  Female Fronted Showcase
  New England’s best female musicians
  When: May 2 – 4, 2008

  Anthem produces five specialty music festivals each year but none are as popular as this one! The opening weekend of May featured nothing but female fronted bands, solo artists and songwriters. Covering all genres of music, the lovely ladies of rock, pop and more all converged on the Church of Boston for this fantastic weekend long event.

  Bruins Pub Crawl
  Last Bruins home game of the regular season!

  Anthem's first annual Bruins Pub Crawl event will go down as one of the most successful and fun events of 2008! Over 200 patrons joined us for the crawl and enjoyed food, drinks, hockey and good ol' fun. Thank you to our venue partners: The Fours, Porter's, and DJ's for helping to make this such a great event. A huge thank you to former Bruins player Bob Sweeney and the Bruins Ice Girls for joining the pub crawl goers for some photos and fun! Everyone's efforts helped to raise a lot of money for The Bruins Foundation and The Cam Neely House and four lucky patrons were proud winners of a Zamboni ride next season, team autographed jersey, team autographed hockey stick, and free Anthem events for the remainder of 2008. This event was a sellout so be sure to purchase your crawl tickets early next year to be a part of an even bigger and better event!

  Rockin' Runway
  Where rock music and fashion meet!

  Anthem's second annual St. Patrick's Day Rockin' Runway event was a huge success! Fusing music and fashion into one night, this event featured Boston and Bosco who performed some of your favorite hits and kept the crowd dancing all night. Models sashayed down the runway to the music wearing some of the greatest fashions from local Boston designers: Blue Alvarez Designs and Maria of Italy. Be sure to join us again next year for this upbeat, energetic St. Patrick's Day tradition with something for everyone!

  A Leap Into Spring Fashion
  A leap into spring fashion to benefit CTF!

  Anthem and near 200 attendees spent the leap year in style with a high energy and lavish night filled with spring fashion. Proceeds from this event benefited the Massachusetts Children's Trust Fund. Thousands of dollars were raised for this organization with a wonderful cause: child abuse prevention. The latest designs from Nirva, Boston Sophisticate, Gail Schneider Designs, Pink/Blue Hollywood, and DiSpagna Designs LTD were on display and our celebrity guest, Miss Massachusetts USA, Jackie Bruno and our event sponsors, Idol Vodka and Smart Water topped off the night! Thank you to all the participants, sponsors, and the attendees who made this such a hugely successful event!

  Anthem/Eagles Challenge: FINALS
  When: January 24, 2008
  Venue: The Point

  Anthem and the Boston College Athletics Department teamed up to find the best singer in Boston – and did just that. Cary Wells was crowned the winner of the Anthem/Eagles Challenge and received the grand prize of performing the National Anthem at the BC vs. Virginia Tech basketball game on January 26th. Carley Tanchon and Leslie Santiago came in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively and these top 3 contestants will all have the opportunity to sing at upcoming Anthem events. The caliber of the talent pool of over 60 contestants in this series made for the closest singing competition to date.
